Leadership Development

“Growing the church by multiplying leaders”

We place a high priority on identifying, training and releasing leaders across every area of church life. Leadership Development is a training track which equips emerging leaders with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead with confidence, whatever area of the church they have responsibility in.

Leadership Development comprises 10 sessions and is led by Nick Sharp and Julia Morrison. The program is designed to be fun and interactive with many opportunities to ask questions and apply new skills. Each session will focus on a particular aspect of leadership ranging from personal evangelism, delegation and encouragement to hospitality and the devotional life of a leader, and notes and follow up materials are provided.

When and where?

Leadership Development begins in October and runs fortnightly on Wednesday evenings during the Autumn and Spring terms. 8-10pm

Who is it for?

Attendance by invitation only. Existing leaders recommend potential leaders within their group or ministry and they are then invited to attend. If you believe God has called you to take responsibility for leadership and are interested in being trained, talk in the first instance to your Small Group Leader.

Potential leaders are identified from within the church and then invited to attend the course.
