To the nations
As a family of churches, we're on a mission together to see the ends of the earth reached with the good news and to see the kingdom of God advanced through the church.
There are a number of short term, long term and training opportunities available for those interested in overseas mission.
Short term overseas teams
Short term mission offers an excellent opportunity to experience what God is doing in other nations, gain experience in cross cultural evangelism and clarify your personal vision and calling from God for longer term involvement in overseas mission.
Life Change Teams
These short term overseas mission trips are open to anyone over 18, lasting for 1-4 weeks and involve working with Newfrontiers churches or church plants in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Russia. They are a great opportunity to gain an insight into what God is doing in and through his church across the nations.
You can choose teams focusing on either working with the poor or unreached people groups.
For further details, visit www.nations.xtn.org.
Mobilise Worldwide
These teams are aimed at students & those in their twenties who have a passion for the nations and want a life changing experience of serving God overseas. These are a great opportunity to explore and develop what God is calling you to! This years teams are going to Russia, Canada and Estonia.
See www.mobilise.xtn.org/worldwide for further details.
Newday Global
Designed for 16-18 year olds, Newday Global teams are hosted by church plants in different European cities so that you can have a real taste of what it’s like to plant a church in another culture!
See www.newday.xtn.org/global for further details.
Long term overseas mission
At Grace Church we do not just want to see people go to the nations, we want to send people well. We are committed to sending workers to the nations to plant churches and preach the gospel to unreached people groups.
For individuals feeling an overseas call, we are keen to work with you as you work out and test your overseas calling. The most important way to prepare yourself for long term mission is to get stuck into the local church where you continue to develop your relationship with God, character, and evangelism skills (to name just a few things).
We encourage you to make the most of the numerous training and development opportunities that are available within the church. If you are interested in discussing a calling overseas, please arrange a meeting with Ruth Bunting, who leads the missions team here at Grace church.
Missions Team
Our International Missions team, led by Ruth Bunting, works to encourage individuals and the church to develop a passion for the
nations of the world. We do this by providing information on and links with training and international mission opportunities
available through Newfrontiers, as well as supporting those involved in short and long term mission.
