Sparks
Sparks meets on a Sunday morning during the main session. Sparks aim to 'spark off' a love for Jesus whilst having fun and making friends.
A typical Sparks session includes:
- Toilet Trip - to minimise disruptions during the session.
- Welcome - including Sparks chant with actions
- Story - a short Bible story is taught in a fun and exciting way
- Activity - an interesting short activity related to the story. We also do some energetic games and songs!
- Snack Time - a break with healthy drinks and snacks
- Free Play - we have four corners for the children to choose from including construction zone, role play zone, story corner and small world.
Practical Arrangements
Sparks need to be registered by their parents/carers when they first arrive. An announcement will be made during worship when it is time for them to go to their group. The Sparks leaders will be waiting to meet the children by the door.
Sparks need to be collected at the end of the meeting with their registration card. If you are unable to collect your child promptly, you can give this card to a trusted person over 16.Helen
Sparks is led by Helen Suffield. Our aim at Sparks is to spark a love for Jesus in the 3-5 year olds. This is done through fun activities, such as songs, games and stories and often the guest appearance of 'Sparky the Dragon'.
