Connect '12
As a large, growing church, with two Sunday congregations, Connect is a key event for us. It's more important than ever that we have times in the year when we can all gather together in a relaxed environment, dedicated to; fun, family and being together.
From the 15th - 17th of June we'll set up camp at Uttoxeter Showground just 40 miles west of Nottingham.
The weekend program caters for every age and taste allowing lots of opportunities for us to connect with God and with each other.
what to expect
From breakfast through to supper, meals will be catered for centrally allowing everybody the chance to relax and enjoy eating together.
During the morning sessions we gather together for worship, teaching and ministry. We will be having Bishop David Carr (Pastor of Renewal Christian Centre in Solihull) to address us on Saturday morning, whilst also speaking at an optional seminar on Saturday afternoon. We will then be having John and Ele Mumford (leaders of Vineyard UK) leading us in our Sunday morning session.
Sports, games, and our 'Foam Cafe', will keep all ages occupied in our afternoons. A live band will be playing on Friday night for drinks and dancing, and our 'Grace Church Cabaret' will be returning on Saturday night.
