To the nations

Nations

As a family of churches, we're on a mission together to see the ends of the earth reached with the good news and to see the kingdom of God advanced through the church.

There are a number of short term, long term and training opportunities available for those interested in overseas mission.

Short Term Mission Team 2012

Dan and Lizzie Brodier

In September 2012 Grace Church will be sending a team to work with a Newfrontiers church in Maastricht in Holland. The purpose of the trip will be to serve the church and their local community by hosting events for children, engaging in street preaching and evangelism and working in some of the deprived areas of the city.

This trip will take place Sat 1st – Mon 10th Sep and will be lead by Dan and Lizzie Brodier. This short term trip is a great opportunity to gain some mission experience firsthand and help us serve and develop relationships with Nieuw Levinn Church in Maastricht.

If you are interested in joining the team or want to find out more please contact shorttermmission@gracechurchnottingham.org

Nations on our Doorstep

Nottingham is a diverse and multicultural city with people from many nations coming to live here. Our passion is to build a church that reflects this diversity and is committed to sharing the gospel with those from different nations living in our city.

International Bible Study

Grace church runs an international bible study for any international students who are keen to find out more about the Christian faith. This is very accessible for those with limited English and takes place every Sunday at 1pm at Grace Church.

Mongolian Ministry in Nottingham

Every Thursday evening Grace church runs a bible study for Mongolians in Nottingham. This takes place from 6-8pm at Grace Church and there are opportunities to help run the crèche for young children as well as assisting with the bible study sessions.

Globe Cafe

Many students come to study at the two Nottingham universities from all corners of the world, often from places where the gospel is not openly preached. For many of them, their time here is one of new discoveries and of learning. In light of this, a number of Grace Church members are involved in Globe cafe which combines an introduction to various aspects of British culture with a presentation of the Christian faith presented in a way that is accessible for people for whom English is not their first language. This runs every Monday from 7.30 – 9.30pm at St Nic’s church on Maid Marion Way in the city centre.
