Ruth's Story
My name is Ruth, and if you’re reading this then please let me introduce you to the best friend you will ever know.
He became real to me one day in my teens when I picked up the Bible and read the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is the story of a man who is the only Son of God, who came to Earth to die on a cross so that we may be forgiven for the wrongs we do, and have a relationship with Him.
Though I had read this story many times, one day the words lifted off the page and the truth hit me! If I really believed that this was true, then my life had to change – in many ways!
Knowing him
I made a decision to follow Jesus and my life has never been the same since. Knowing Jesus is the most satisfying and fulfilling thing, and I would not swap knowing him for anything in the world. It can be tough sometimes but He is so faithful.
God offered me the comfort and love that the world so often failed to give me. His love is everlasting and has broken through all the toughest times in my life.
The Bible says that God promises to never leave me or forsake me. I want everyone to know what He has done in my life so that they can know Him too and experience they joy and happiness that He brings.
You can know him too
You may feel unlovely and you may feel unreachable, but you have never been unloved by God. You may not even know Him, but he still loves you! It doesn’t matter who you are and what you have done – he cares about you. You’re never out of reach!
