More than this?
Hi, My name is Jon and I 'd like to tell you something that changed my life.
When I was growing up, I believed in Jesus, but wan't massively excited by it. I much preferred doing sport and was generally more interested in living for myself. I didn't consider myself a bad person particularly, but it was safe to say that Jesus wasn't my number one priority.
However, when I was 14, I started going to a local youth group, where I met some people that just had something different about them. They seemed to have such a purpose to their lives and said that this was down to the difference that Jesus had made.
They explained that I could know him personally and even said that he willingly died on the cross to take the punishment for all the things that I had ever done wrong, so I could be totally forgiven.
I was amazed why would he sacrifice himself like this for me, so I asked Jesus to come into my life and to forgive me for all the times I'd messed up... and there were a lot of them! As I did this, this incredible feeling came over me and I just felt really happy and free!
Ever since that day, my life has utterly changed and I can honestly say that I wouldn't swap my relationship with Jesus for anything. Its astonishing that he would choose to know me and living life for him so such an adventure!
That same relationship with Jesus is open to you, if you are simply willing to trade in your old life and give him your heart.
