Market Square
  • Nottingham is located just off the M1 motorway, in the East Midlands.
  • A population of over 665,000 makes Greater Nottingham the 7th largest urban area in the UK.
  • Visitors are attracted to the city because of its rich history including Nottingham Castle, the 19th Century Lace industry and the Legend of Robin Hood.
  • The National Ice Arena hosts live music and sporting events to audiences of up to 10,000 people.
  • The city has two main shopping centres (Victoria and Broadmarsh) and two universities (University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent), with a student population of some 60,000.
Tram
  • Nottingham is well served by a comprehensive bus network and a growing tram network. There is also an extensive network of cycle paths around the city.
  • Nottingham is the home of Trent Bridge cricket ground and has two famous football clubs; Nottingham Forest and Notts County, the latter being the venue for Grace Church Sunday meetings. For meeting times click here.
